Founder and Chair
Donna is a Digital Accessibility Specialist, educator, coach, and community leader who is passionate about equity, inclusion, and supporting youth.
She founded Making Prom Happen to help students in Peel Region celebrate prom and graduation with confidence and dignity. Donna brings practical experience in governance, program planning, and community partnerships, and she approaches her work with care, collaboration, and a focus on empowering every young person she serves.

Cathy Corsetti
Co-chair and Donations Coordinator
Cathy is a licensed Paralegal with over 40 years of experience in landlord tenant services and has served three elected terms as a Paralegal Bencher with the Law Society of Ontario, including roles on its Discipline Tribunal and Access to Justice committees. She brings deep governance expertise, adjudication experience, and a long-standing commitment to fairness, equity, and community service, along with decades of mentoring and professional leadership.

Adriane Franklin
Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator
Adriane is an educator with over 20 years of experience teaching Business, Economics, and Mathematics in the Peel District School Board, alongside extensive leadership in community service and youth focused volunteer initiatives. She brings strong governance experience, deep community engagement, and a long-standing commitment to supporting young people and families across Mississauga.

Treasurer
Aaron is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of experience as a Controller at a large public company, bringing extensive expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. His professional background includes public accounting, where he provided audit, accounting, and compliance services to numerous nonprofit organizations. Aaron currently serves on multiple nonprofit boards, contributing strong financial oversight, governance, and a demonstrated commitment to transparency and responsible stewardship of charitable funds.

As our organization grows, our Board regularly reviews our governance practices to ensure they reflect best practices and support long-term sustainability.
We are committed to responsible stewardship of all donated funds and to scaling sustainably to meet the needs of students in our community.
