Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
Prior to the event:
- Donation drop-off location
- School donations pick-up
- Seamstress
- Social media
- Decorations
- Fundraising
- Grant writing

On the day of the event:
- Greeter
- Registration and check out
- Dress area team
- Suit area team
- Shoes and accessories team
- Dressing room attendants
- Tear-down team (after the event 7:30pm-9:30pm)

Our volunteer roster for the 2025 Making Prom Happen Event is full, but if you have skills listed in the “prior to the event” section above or would like to be considered for next year’s event, please email volunteers @ makingpromhappen.ca.
At this time we are not accepting high school students as volunteers during the event. However, if you are a high school student with ideas for how you can volunteer outside of the event, please contact us by email.
